Ayeaye to you all!
« on: 20:57:37, 22/01/17 »
Hey everyone!

Just a quick intro before I pester all you lovely people with my presence  :D
I'm a Cumbrian lass but currently living in Glasgow, a 2nd year student studying to be a vet. I like getting out for wanders at the weekends to keep the stresses of uni at bay. I've explored many a mountain with my parents back home but now I'm going it alone. I love it. Planning my routes from maps and books, then being out there in the wilderness, just me and my trusty boots... It's amazing.

Anyway, my current adventures are occurring round Loch Lomond since I only have a few maps now I'm away from home and can't nab my Dad's! My goal for the year is to do the Welsh 3000s, both as a fitness challenge and because it's sort of a family tradition in some ways.

I thought I'd join you guys to get some walk ideas and I'm looking forwards to having a good natter with some like-minded folks!

Welcome to the forum. I'm live around the same area as you. Get yourself up into the Arrochar Alps. It's quality walking and plenty of miles to prep for your Welsh 3000 peak challenge.
