Just a quick intro as I am new to the walking forum. I walk most days and have hiked in Nepal, India, New Zealand and many other places. This year I am attempting the C2C in July, this will be my first long UK trail. Really looking forward to it. Anyone else doing similar ?   Cheers Mal

Welcome from Old Portsmouth. I've hiked and camped the full length of Coast to Coast both ways, very enjoyable, but wasn't so keen on the section from Keld to the North Sea coast. My best hike was on my third go, I walked from St. Bees to Keld and then turned south on the Pennine Way to Edale, for me much better and from a train point of view made it easier for me to get home. I hope the weather is good for you.
