Am thinking of giving it a go, is it ok, or underwater at high tide? Ta.

Hi Pleb, would you mind clarifying what LC stands for. I've looked up LC Carnforth to Morecambe but that hadnt yielded any results. I wondered about Lancashire Coast, but thought I'd check.
Cheers!

Yep, Lancashire Coast walk, I only know that cos it says so on the OS map on bing maps. Theres a route that looks easy from Carnforth to Morecambe, but not sure if it needs to be at low tide?

No problem in that direction I'd have thought. Coming N, as I did, there a temptation to stay on sand north of Hest Bank and then discover that there's salt marsh between you and genuinely firm ground.
As ever with Morecambe Bay, check the tide times before you go.

Was thinking of this on sunday, but looking at tide times and internet info, think it will be simpler to give it a miss and go somewhere else!

Low water on Sunday 2/7 is 1341h. Pretty good, I'd have thought.

Pleasant, unremarkable. I found it easy, so I'm sure you could do it, didnt look to be much danger from the sea, much of it I made up my own path. Not sure how far it was.
Check tide times!
