I took a small selfie-drone with me on my walks on Hadrian's Wall and The Antonine Wall. I thought I would film myself with the Roman remains in the background. But I abandoned the idea cos of the wind. The wind is quite a problem. And bringing a bigger drone is not really an option.

A 4 metre expanding selfie stick would be better.

I've just watched a 2018 film called 'Hover'. All about a Monsanto type company who uses drones to kill people, via microwaves, when the local farmers wouldn't hand their land over to them. A bit like a remake of those westerns where the local big rancher would stop at nothing in order to buy up or take all the little ranches around him. There was a big shootout in the end. It all ended in tears for the baddies!
