Identify the fells
« on: 14:44:42, 08/07/18 »

Son took this photo from Langstrath yesterday.

He took it from here - the lower/more southerly footbridge in the direction of Stake Pass.

He asked what the distant fells were. I suggested possibly Bowfell, Esk and Rossett Pikes - ish. I ummed and aaahed whether it would be possible to see Great End or the start of the Scafell Pike ridge from there - but i am not sure.

What are your thoughts. oh wise forum?

Could be Esk Pike on the horizon with Allen Crags (far) and Glaramara (near) rising to the right

Glyno's got it.  Checking on Memory map, it's, to be pedantic,  Glaramara's 721m lower summit on the right. Bowfell is hidden behind Lining Crag on the left.
