It looks a bit like Lambfoot Dub but I'm not 100% ???


Edit I do think it's Lambfoot Dub

I thought of Lambfoot Dub straight away but then I wonderered if it is Middleboot Knotts Tarn?  :-\

Er..yes it might be ;)
The banks don't quite look like Lambfoot ( and the water in Lambfoot is quite dirty for some reason  ;D  )

Thanks adalard - I now wish that I had got down on my belly to take the photo, to get more of Great Gable reflected in the tarn!

The name of the tarn isn't marked on the 1:25000 OS map, but the tarn is at grid ref NY215080, just below the upper part of the Scafell Pike Corridor Route path a short distance before it meets up with the Piers Gill path.

There was a post similar to this a few years ago where the correct guess(ee) then posted their " where am I " photograph.
As it's your post Richard, are you going to keep the photos coming and us lot guessing ?

I knew the photo was looking at Gable but wasn't sure where from.
Only a hill but all of life to me, up there between the sunset and the sea.
