Getting a Paramo zip replaced!
« on: 18:11:13, 02/12/18 »
My Paramo Alta 2 has failed me! I've owned it about 4 years (cost me about 200 at the time) and now the zip needs replacing. I've just been on their site, 47.50!!! I'm not even sure if this includes postage and packing both ways, I clicked off in surprise!

I've got to have a think about this!

If you registered your garment or have proof of purchase it'll be covered by Paramo's lifetime guarantee

Its rare for a company not to offer assistance to a customer who has purchased one of their products.
Most of us forget to keep a purchase receipt, and their easily lost.
I usually find a very nice email saying how pleased about their stuff you are, usually helps a lot,   they may charge you a fair bit, but most companies have a repair service, or outsource their work to another company.

Some years ago, the zip on my Buffalo parka jacket became snagged, ripping the pertex to shreds.
Buffalo gladly accepted the coat back and on recollection did not charge much for a lovely new zip and section of pertex.
