She doesn't look entirely thrilled with her present 📦

Looks like she loves those!!  Never tried them on my dogs and suspect they would react the same.

Bought Mrs pdstsp an ironing board one year as a joke - luckily she saw the funny side.

An ironing board does not have a funny side

It did look quite good wrapped up, and I did ply her with many baby guinness first, which may have had an impact.  And I had bought her something nice as well as the ironing board (a slow cooker or supersized tin of furniture polish if I remember correctly) ;D

(Baby Guinness - Tia Maria with Baileys floated on top)

I once bought Mrs Jimbob a socket set (as a joke) she was speechless  for at least an hour until I passed over her real birthday present.

I remember that birthday so vividly because that was the year I learned to wash and iron clothes and cook meals.
Too little, too late, too bad......

I would need a whole bottle of wine to find that present funny  ;D

That's how I try on new shoes  ;D
Didn't the old 'Westerns' (cowboy & indian films) have the injuns referring to the cowboys as 'tenderfoot'  ?

Haha, love it. Thinking about a whippet for my next dog.
