I've seen the Naked Rambler!
« on: 15:01:22, 31/07/19 »
Well he may not have been The naked rambler but it was a naked rambler.  We did a return visit to the Quantock Hills this morning.  In the area of Dead Woman's Ditch we spotted someone suddenly go off the track to walk the other side of the trees lining one side of the path.  As he passed it was clear the gentleman was nattily dressed in a red baseball hat (presumably to keep the sun off - but what?), boots, backpack and nothing else unless you count trekking poles.
Mrs N did not know where to look for the best and resorted to an "eyes front".
Whoever he was, I can tell you this:
1.  It was not he gentleman in the picture in post #6 of http://www.walkingforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=34479.0.
2.  He does not find walking exciting and ...
3.  He is not jewish.

No but we did have my daughter’s dog with us.  Fortunately, she was on a short lead as she is fond of sausage.

I have walked part of the South West coast path that goes along Studland beach in Dorset. The path passed through the naturists area where they needed to wear sun protection as they walk along the beach, a hat.  :D
These boots are made for walking.... so long as the rest of my body agrees

I heard there were three naked ramblers in Keswick the week before last. I'm trying to remember who told me about it.

Beefy, did we hear about this on the bus last Saturday? I'm not sure if I'm imagining things  ;D

Hope that he's applied plenty of Factor 50 to areas not normally exposed to the sun.
