We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Foot & Insole Clinic at Whalley Warm & Dry - expertly fitted footwear & hand-built custom-made insoles all at one location for a seamless & stress-free experience!

The in-depth knowledge provided by our specially trained fitters combined with the comprehensive understanding of the biomechanics of the feet courtesy of The Foot & Insole Specialist is invaluable when finding footwear & insoles that work together perfectly to provide both comfort and support. Medical professionals including Doctors, Physiotherapists and Chiropodists regularly refer patients to see us for our ability to help people find properly fitting footwear and supportive insoles which can help alleviate the pain associated with medical conditions such as Mortonís Neuroma, Plantar fasciitis, Metatarsalgia, Arthritis and knee, hip and back problems.

THE FOOT & INSOLE SPECIALIST Liz, Jon's daughter & who many of you will recognise from her years of boot fitting & work at the shop, has recently qualified as a Podiatrist.
Together with her husband, Liz has set up a second clinic for their family business, The Foot & Insole Specialist.

From this new clinic, Liz will be taking appointments for biomechanical assessments & hand-built custom-made insoles. The custom-made insoles are 100% tailored to your two individual feet, naturally supporting every contour of your foot, improving comfort, shock absorption, support, alignment and posture.

To book an appointment for our Specialist Boot Fitting Service plus custom-made insoles, please call Katy on 01254 822220

Thanks for this. This is a fantastic service. Superfeet do have other stockists about who do the same but it is easier to find hen's teeth. There was a place in Newcastle had moulding equipment also, but it closed down a while ago. I found that the moulded superfeet were great and sorted out the plantar. I don't need to use them now, using the gel insoles many on here recomend but with the arch support built in. At the time the moulded ones were a godsend, so nice to know where I can go if I need to revert back to them.
Too little, too late, too bad......

Whalley Warm & Dry had previously outsourced the custom made insole service here https://footandinsolespecialist.co.uk/ requiring an offsite appointment/visit elsewhere.

If you look at the "CHECK AVAILABILITY & BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW" link towards the bottom of that page you will see they now offer a choice of two appointment locations together with the rather eye-watering prices for their custom built insoles.

To avoid confusion and possible misunderstanding I believe the custom made insoles are a completely different animal to the semi-customisable heat moulded insoles which have been available off the shelf in store for quite some time and are mentioned on this page https://www.whalleyoutdoor.co.uk/boot-fitting-service/ready-wear-insoles/

Thanks.
I didn't realise there was a difference. What I got worked even though they took a bit of getting used to as they were forcing my feet back into shape, if that is in tact what they were doing, whatever it was they became comfortable with daily use and touch wood the plantar seems to have gone to be replaced with general arthritic bones and foot senility.

Aging is one hell of a price to pay for good looks and intelligence.  :2funny:
If only the second part were also true.  :-\
