I did the walk I've done the last few weeks as it is the best walk from my front door. I know now I will be able to drive further afield so it looks like it will be the last time I do this walk for a while  :)

Home - Golf Course footpath - Warwick Moor Wood - footpath to B6263 - River Eden footpath - Wetheral Woods - Wetheral Priory Gateshouse - Wetheral - Railway footpath - Parklands - Warwick Moor Wood - Golf Course - Home. 9.75 miles 120m of ascent.

Gorse and blossom

The lonnen
[

Spot the bluebells!

The Brexit is Bonkers sign has been removed from the gate post at the end of the lonnen.

Mountain Cornflower

I had to google this, I had no idea what it was. This was on the riverside path near Wetheral Woods. The pheasant was in the usual place in the field next to the river. No photos this time  :)

In Wetheral Woods. Buttercups?

I couldn't remember how big the flowers were when I got home.

The horses came over to the gate as I was taking the photos.

Lambs and ewes on the path to the golf course

Here are Saturdays photos

Horse Chestnut tree

Buttercups?

These were near Warwick Moor Wood and don't look quite the same as the yellow flowers in Wetheral Woods

Bluebells near the lonnen

More mountain cornflowers

Pussy cat in Wetheral

The yellow flowers in Wetheral Woods from yesterday in close up

Are they buttercups? The flowers were slightly bigger than a 1p coin.

Blencathra on the left

The visibility was very good so I couldn't resist taking this shot, although I have taken it a couple of times now.

Let us out

I think we all know how they feel  :D

I thought the last shot was a very apt shot to finish with, although I didn't know that it the time I took it.

I especially like the cornflowers  O0

They are lovely, don't think I've seen one before.

Hehe, love the camera-shy cat  :)

This is the third time I've seen this cat, it is very friendly but I couldn't stroke it  :(

The Cornflowers are lovely.
If nothing else at least when you're staggering home from the village pub a bit worse for wear you'll know the way  :D

At pdstsp, not sure what to do or where to go? Not sure if going to LD is right at the minute even if it is allowed  :-\
