Contrasting walks
« on: 19:57:17, 10/10/20 »
Few days ago walked along the almost deserted beautiful sandy beaches of South Shields to mouth of River Tyne in beautiful sunshine.

Herd Groyne

Lord Collingwoods statue, don't know why all those people are standing around it.

Wind blowing down Tyne

Tankers waiting to come into Tyne

Today a walk around the western edges of town, through woodlands, following streams, along old railway lines, through site of Battle of Nevilles Cross, under main railway line, back down into town and dragged my aching body up hill to home.

Lovely friendly Donkeys, hungry Donkey trying to eat the camera!

Castle, viewed from Redhills

Same shot two minutes later!

Pitmans Parliament
