Hi everyone
« on: 20:26:13, 30/12/20 »
I've finally started walking a bit more in my local area which is Epping Forest.  I've discovered a lot more of Essex and East Hertfordshire and I'm looking forward to walking more hilly areas.  I'm so happy to have found this forum for tips, advice, and most of all, inspiration

Welcome from Somerset. I have had some lovely walks in Essex... The Dengie peninsular and the Blackwater marshes.
It's all uphill from here.

. . . my local area which is Epping Forest . . .

You'll know the Hollow Ponds at Snaresbrook then? That's where I learned to read a map many years ago.
