Looks like a really nice wander that - I like the info about the salmon, they really are amazing.  Watched some up at Shin Falls near Lairg last September - mesmerising.  Good to see the floods have receded too.

I've never seen a salmon in the Don...nothing more than tiddlers.

I've only ever seen them leaping at Shin, but is was memorable - the tenacity and strength is incredible.
